Hanny (Hanao) OOAK Custom Blythe by Irumi March

No comments:
Hanny (Hanao) is up ready for adoption. She is a special girl (for me). Since she has something that I and my standard consider as flaws. Here it is her photos.

Some flaws:
- She has gaps between scalp and backplate.
- Her nosetril has holes trough her faceplate. I like it, by the way, just in case it is not your taste :)
- Her eye mech sometimes need to manually clicked by hand. It rarely happens actually. Just found out when I take her photos.

Her Flickr album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/132264600@N04/albums/72157675312669976
It is super hard for me to let her go, really! *sob sob*

Tsumamizaiku Home Decor Crane and Shochikubai - Hiasan Dinding Tsumamizaiku Bangau

No comments:
Today is my friend's wedding day. So, yesterday, very yesterday I made this (collaboration with my 3 other friends who was confused about the gift and finally decided to make this last minute gift hehee.. >_< ).

Hari ini hari pernikahan temanku. Dia sesama penyuka kimono dan Jepang. Jadi ceritanya kemarin itu, iya kemarin banget saya bikin kado buat dia (kolaborasi sama tiga teman lain sih soalnya kami kebingungan mau ngasih kado apa. >_<)

I'm so happy with the result. Crane is a symbol of longevity and and good luck. Well, without any disrespect, I didn't actually believe it. I just think that crane is cool-looking (Yes. I'm watching at you, Tsurumaru Kuninaga! >_<). While shochikubai (plum blossom, bamboo leaves, and pine) are symbol of resilience.

Alhamdulilaaah! Suka banget sama hasil akhirnya! Semoga penerima juga suka ya. Bangau itu simbol usia panjang dan keberuntungan. Tapi, tanpa mengurangi rasa hormat, aku sih gak percaya.

Sekiaaaan~ :)

Tsumamizaiku Home Decor - Hiasan Sakura

No comments:
A friend's sister was in a search for an unusual gift for her friend's wedding. So my friend reccomended me to her. After browsing trough my past works, she decided to have commission from me. She wanted a decorated photo frame.

Jadi temanku merekomendasikan aku padanya. Setelah melihat-lihat produk yang pernah aku buat, akhirnya dia memilih frame hias untuk kadonya.

Since I think sakura is the popular motif, I choose this particular flowers. Long story short, here it is the result. I made it entirely with chirimen, handpainted on the pink area.

That white area is where you stick the photo. Alhamdulillaah, so glad I made it in time, because I wasn't feeling well at that time. :(

Area putih itu tempat menempelkan foto. Alhamdulillaah, selesai tepat waktu, padahal waktu itu lagi gak enak badan. :( Sekiaaan~

Kimekomi Patchwork Tulip

No comments:

Kimekomi patchwork in tulip motif. This is not my original design. It's pretty easy to make. Draw a design directly on 5 mm craft foam and trace the design using your knife (remember, without actually cutting it). Then you can start tuck the fabric of your choice on to those tracing line. You might need to widen the line by cutting it a little bit. There is also some parts need a dot of glue. Some parts also need a batting (like the middle part of the tulips as shown on the picture above).

Kimekomi patchwork motif tulip. Ini bukan desain original saya (nemu via Google). Sebenernya cukup gampang kok bikinnya.

I need to write it with example, really. I hope I have time to make some kind of tutorial in the future.

Shichigosan Style Hair Clip Tsumamizaiku - Jepit Rambut Tsumamizaiku

No comments:
New commission. Not really for shichigosan, but a customer asked me to make kanzashi according to her daughter's kimono motif.

I'm so happy to accept this challange. It makes me learn more about kimono colour coordination and motif. :)

Hijab Kanzashi Sakura Pink Gradation

No comments:
New work! The customer ordered two kanzashi for hijab with sagari. I love this fabric and I worked on it until I got nothing left. Must. Buy. More. T_T

Pesanan dua kanzashi untuk hijab. Kebayang gak bikinnya kayak gimana? Seruuu soalnya jenis kainnya bagus, enak buat dilipat. Tapi saking keasyikan, dibuat terus sampai habis. Mesti restock nih!

I use lapel pin instead of metal kanzashi (of course, because it is for hijab)! It's quite challenging to attach the bouquet but I finally managed to finish it. So happy!!

Butuh kerja ekstra, tapi hasilnya bikin happy!! ^_^
